WOODCREEK PHASE 1 RESTRICTIVE OCCUPANCY OVERLAY INFORMATION, as lot owners in the WOODCREEK PHASE 1 PLAT MAP, we  have a vote in restricting the number of unrelated persons occupying properties as our neighbors.  the ROO committee is dedicated to approving the restrictive overlay so we won't face multiple unrelated persons occupying rental properties in our neighborhoods.

WE HAVE TWO MONTHS FROM FIRST PETITION SIGNATURE TO COMPLETE THE PROCESS.  THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION PLANNING AND ZONING DEPARTMENT HAS WORKED TO MAKE THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION A GREAT PLACE TO LIVE FOR SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTS, STUDENT RESIDENTS, RETIREMENT AGE RESIDENTS.  FOR SOME COMMUNITIES THE PLANNING CAME ALONG LATE AND THE INTEGRITY OF THEIR NEIGHBORHOODS DECLINED THROUGH HIGH OCCUPANCY PROPERTIES BEING MIXED IN TO SINGLE FAMILY OCCUPANCY COMMUNITIES.  OUR GOAL IS TO DO QHAT WE CAN TO NOT ALLOW THAT TO HAPPEN.  WE CHOOSE TO LIVE IN A DESIGNATED SINGLE FAMILY COMMUNITY AND WANT IT TO REMAIN THAT WAY.
